Is a home in Altıntaş really ready to move into? An infrastructure and neighbourhood checklist
Check the apartment, building and street together before setting your moving date.
You have viewed the home: the kitchen is finished, the lift works and the keys are available. But will your route to work be open the next morning? Choosing a home ready to move into in Altıntaş means checking the building’s connections and the street alongside the apartment. This research helps you anticipate work and costs after moving.
Verify each building connection
ASAT’s statement dated 9 August 2026 reports that the second phase of sewer and asphalt works in Altıntaş was continuing. That dated announcement alone cannot establish the connection status of the building you are considering. Check its connection to the network separately. ASAT statement
Give water and electricity the same attention. Can an individual utility account be opened for the apartment? Which account currently supplies its electricity? Ask management or the seller for documents. Get the responsible person and expected completion date for outstanding tasks in writing. Record an application and an active service separately.
Rehearse a normal day on the street
Try the route home using your intended transport. Check access to the complex, lighting at night, pedestrian crossings and access for a removal vehicle. Verify on site whether a connection shown on the map is usable.
If possible, visit after rain. Ask about drainage around the entrance, basement and parking area. Sewerage, rainwater drainage and building waterproofing need separate checks. If you see damp marks or standing water, ask a technical specialist to investigate; one visit cannot establish the building’s safety.
Set your moving date around outstanding work
Make three columns: available services, outstanding work and effects on daily life. Include nearby construction schedules, road access and street cleanliness. Separate essentials needed before moving from small issues you can manage later.
If internet installation is pending, for example, calculate a temporary solution’s cost if you work remotely. The same delay may matter differently to someone moving in months later. Add temporary accommodation, storage or a second move to your budget if needed. You can then see whether other expenses change an apparently low purchase price.
Take this list to the seller. An outstanding task with a named person and date can be planned around; an unresolved question may change your schedule. Choose a moving date when the conditions you need for everyday life are genuinely available.
