High-yield homes next to the airport: the Altıntaş guide

Antalya’s fastest developing district of the last five years, and the centre of the next ten. Who is buying, where are prices, what should you watch?

Altıntaş has been Antalya’s most intensively developing district for the past five years, and I expect that pace to continue for the next ten. Its position between the airport and the Lara beaches makes it unique for investors and residents alike.

In the first three years after zoning, buyers came mostly from Russia, Ukraine, Iran and Kazakhstan. In the last three years the picture has shifted towards Turkish citizens living abroad and buyers over forty from cities such as Konya, Kayseri, Ankara and Istanbul.

Apartments currently range from 90,000 to 300,000 euros depending on type; villas from 350,000 to 1,800,000 euros. The most valuable line is the six-lane Başbuğ Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard, and the quality projects along it hold long-term value. One caution: daily life here is still demanding without a car. Ask for an up-to-date, on-site assessment before deciding.
